GRAVEYARDS
The grave yard is one of the elements that usually starts to be thought about in the process of setting up a grave site. Which cemetery to choose - granite, concrete or metal? Everything depends on the wishes and possibilities of the customer - a granite gravestone will basically last forever, because it is made of stone. Of course, there are various emergency situations, for example, a tree can fall on the grave yard, and theoretically, the granite can also be split.
A granite headstone is valuable, and cemeteries tend to steal them. Therefore, it is recommended to engrave the first letters of the name or surname of the deceased on each element of the grave, or some symbol by which the grave yard could be recognized. The standard granite bench is 8 centimeters high and 5 cm wide. But, of course, it can be made to order in unlimited height, thickness, width and desired shape. A granite patio is often combined with decorative elements, such as blocks.
If a concrete gravestone is installed, it will wear out over time. But in general it will last 20-30 years. The concrete fence is about 10 centimeters high.
A granite and concrete grave yard is usually installed on a concrete foundation, which is poured first to mark the boundaries of the grave site.
Construction of a grave site should begin with the creation of a perimeter - foundation and a grave yard. People mistakenly start by installing a tombstone. Then it may happen that the tombstone will have to be dismantled, because it will interfere with the process of installing the fence.
A cemetery based on a foundation is much more stable. When installed without a foundation, the grave yard may become unstable over time, tilt, as the terrain of the grave site changes.
If you are building a metal grave yard, a foundation is not necessary. A metal grave yard is often chosen when a higher fence is desired.
